SAIC Alum Profiled in the Chicago Tribune
Recently, the Chicago Tribune caught up with the environmentalist, artist, and SAIC alum Jenny Kendler (MFA 2006). Kendler is the artist in residence at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and discusses her upcoming projects, including a "10-foot domed 'confessional to the natural world'" in the NRDC's booth at EXPO Chicago 2014 September 18-21, as part of her residency.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
