SAIC Assistant Professor Invited to Participate in Event at NYU Abu Dhabi

SAIC Assistant Professor and Graduate Coordinator Shaurya Kumar (Printmedia) has been invited to attend a three-day convention at New York University (NYU) Abu Dhabi's campus later this year. Reversible: Narrating Identity from the Inside Out and Outside In brings together contemporary artists to share methodologies and works in progress around common themes, which include Participation—The Artist and Society; Osmosis: Navigating Private and Public Spaces; Memory & the Nation: Vernacular and Official Narratives; and Reversible—Inside Out Narrations. The convention is co-sponsored by Forming Intersections and Dialogues (FIND) and NYU Abu Dhabi. Participants invited range from visual artists, musicians, authors, and curators.
