SAIC Associate Dean Exhibits at the Portrait Society Gallery
In a round-up of Milwaukee-area art exhibits, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel highlighted work from SAIC Associate Dean of Graduate Studies, Lynn Tomaszewski, which can be seen at The Portrait Society. Describing the paintings as subtle and optical, "with their collections of dots and skins swarming, multiplying, collecting and shimmering." Tomaszewski's works Phenomenal Agglomerative is part of the group show Raw vs. Cooked, and runs through January 10, 2015.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
