Hyde Park Art Center Exhibit Showcases Work from SAIC Grads
A new exhibit, Ground Floor recently opened at the Hyde Park Art Center and features work from recent college graduates, including those from SAIC, according to the Hyde Park Herald. The curated biennial is an opportunity for these up-and-coming artists to premiere their work outside of academia. The 20 artists featured were selected from a pool of 150 applicants and work in a wide breadth of media. The exhibit will run through March 22.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
