Wall Street Journal Profiles Designer Holly Hunt
Chicago interior designer and member of SAIC’s Board of Governors Holly Hunt recently opened her first furniture showroom in Europe. Hunt has an eye for crisp aesthetics of neutral tones and fine craftsmanship that epitomizes the vogue of her industry and attracts international clientele. The Wall Street Journal notes, “When people talk about pared-down neutrals and clean lines, they don’t realize they have Holly Hunt to thank.” Hunt’s London shop is one of 10 that she has opened since her first in 1983 in the Merchandise Mart.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
