Art for Progress Speaks with SAIC Alum Katya Grokhovsky
Art for Progress interviewed SAIC alum Katya Grokhovsky (MFA 2011) who was recently named one of the top 10 female emerging artists by the Huffington Post. She spoke about artistic interdisciplinarity, feminism, and the value of her MFA degree from SAIC, saying during that time her practice was “cracked open, critiqued, questioned and rearranged.”

In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
