MAAAP Student Awarded Self Employment in the Arts (SEA) Prize

Current student Alexia Jacques Casanova (MA 2015) has been awarded first place in the Idea Pitch Competition for Creatives, hosted by Self Employment in the Arts (SEA). In this competition, finalists compete during the SEA Annual Conference by giving a live two-minute pitch in front of an audience and jury. As winner, Jacques Casanova received $3,000 to launch her project, which is a digital platform that seeks to highlight, connect, and support the work of civically engaged artists in Mexico City.
