Alum Susan Longhenry Appointed Director of the Haggerty Museum of Art at Marquette University

Susan Longhenry (MA 1993) has been appointed director of the Haggerty Museum of Art at Marquette University. Longhenry officially takes the leadership role on August 3, 2015, becoming the first woman to head the museum, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The article says she plans to raise the museum's visibility in the region and work with other cultural, civic, and educational institutions. She brings to this new position her extensive experience working with artists, developing catalogues and publications, and presenting her practice at national and regional museum conferences.
