SAIC Professor Adam Mack’s Sensing Chicago
Inside Higher Ed reviewed Associate Professor of Liberal Arts Adam Mack’s Sensing Chicago: Noisemakers, Strikebreakers, and Muckrackers, the first multisensory history of the city. Mack examines Chicago in the 19th and early 20th centuries and communicates how the five senses influenced the city’s history of class, race, and ethnicity.
In celebration of alum Georgia O’Keeffe: My New Yorks opening current SAIC students were invited to submit artworks inspired by O’keeffe and the city of Chicago.
