Tony Jones Named Interim President of the Kansas City Art Institute

SAIC Chancellor Emeritus Tony Jones has been named as the 24th president of the Kansas City Art Institute. He serve as the institute's interim president until June 30, 2017 with a possibility of an extension. Pat McCown, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Kansas City Art Institute praises Jones in his interview with the Kansas City Star, “Of the presidents I’ve served under, Tony is, by far, the most charismatic and unifying leader.”
