WGN Chicago Highlights President Elissa Tenny’s College Arts Access Program

President Elissa Tenny appeared on WGN Chicago with current student Grace Chen to discuss the successes of the College Arts Access Program. This three-year program partners with Chicago Public Schools to provide resources, mentorship, and classes at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to foster design, art, and academic engagement.  

Speaking on the program, Tenny stated, “We have had 150 students from 36 high schools in Chicago so it’s pretty expansive. The program was started because we have a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion [and] to affordability in college.”
