SAIC Studio Tour: Luqing Zhang

In her Ceramics studio in the 280 Building, current student Luqing Zhang is casting bones. Each piece of the sculpture can click together into a snaking spine—forming an apt metaphor for the connections Zhang explores in her work. From physical bonds to social relationships, Zhang is fascinated by the ways objects and people fit together. Her studio space provides the perfect setting to dive deeper into her practice.
