SAIC Members Ranked as Most Influential People in Art in Power 100

Six School of the Art Institute of Chicago community members were included in ArtReview’s 2023 Power 100.

This annual ranking of the most influential people in art features individuals, groups, and collectives. The list is created through a secret panel of about 40 global members acting as consultants with their pulses on local art scenes. 2023’s Power 100 includes SAIC’s Rirkrit Tiravanija (MFA 1986) ranked in the top three, as well as Isaac Julien (HON 2019), Theaster Gates (Hon 2014), Apichatpong Weerasethakul (MFA 1998, HON 2011), Wu Tsang (BFA 2004), and Jeffrey Gibson (BFA 1995).
