M.S. Historic Preservation program director Anne T. Sullivan, FAIA was selected by the General Services Administration (GSA) as a preservation specialist and Design Excellence Peer reviewer for proposed plaza modifications at Mies van der Rohe’s Everett McKinley Dirksen U.S. Courthouse at the iconic Federal Center in Chicago’s downtown.  To achieve top-quality design talent, the GSA has instituted the Design Excellence Program utilizing private-sector peers to provide feedback to the architect/engineer of record.  Ms. Sullivan previously served on the design team for the Federal Center exterior façade restoration.
