November 2024: Faculty and Staff Accomplishments
Associate Professor, Adj. C. C. Ann Chen's solo exhibition, UNGROUND, is on view at the Chinese American Museum of Chicago. The show features a series of collage works made in response to two sailing journeys in the North Atlantic. The exhibition is part of the Spotlight Series, curated by Lecturer Larry Lee.
Associate Professor, Adj. Annette Lauren Elliot-Hogg’s film The Museum screened at the Chicago Film Festival as part of the City & State Shorts program.
Assistant Director of Sullivan Fabrication Studio Kazuki Guzmán is part of the group exhibition The Spaces We Call Home, which features six artists and designers based in or with strong ties to Chicago. The exhibition is on view at the DePaul Art Museum through February 2025.
Lecturer Jenny Halpern; Associate Professor, Adj. John Neff; Professor, Adj. Eia Radosavljevic; and Lecturer Bun Stout are part of the group exhibition Maisons Fragiles at the Chicago gallery RUSCHWOMAN, on view through November 17.
Professor, Adj. Charles Pipal has been appointed to the Illinois Historic Sites Advisory Council. This 15-member body of experts review and recommend additions to the National Register of Historic Places.
