NBC Chicago Covers SAIC Alum Jorge Felix’s Latest Exhibition

Persistence, a Puerto Rican-centered exhibition curated by School of the Art Institute (SAIC) alumni Jorge Felix (MA 2001), was showcased on NBC Chicago. Hosted at the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance, this exhibition puts the spotlight on Puerto Rican artists that immigrated to Chicago and attended SAIC, including, but not limited to: Bibiana Suarez (MFA 1989), Hector Arce-Espasas (BFA 2005), and Cristian J. Roldán Aponte (MA 2020). The exhibition underscores a voice of first-generation artists in America and their pursuit of community within the riveting artistic culture of Chicago.
