Professor, Adj. Eugenia Cheng’s book Is Math Real? How Simple Questions Lead us to Mathematics' Deepest Truths received the coveted 2023 LA Times Book Prize for Science and Technology. Presented in April 2024, this accolade underscores Cheng's ability to engage audiences and explore complex mathematical concepts in accessible ways.

Associate Professor, Adj. Benjamin Larose’s one-person show NOT AMERICAN opened at Chicago’s Den Theater on May 31. The show combines drag, storytelling, song, and physical comedy. 

Assistant Professor, Adj. Elise Paschen published two poems in The New Yorker. The poems are excerpted from Paschen's forthcoming book, Blood Wolf Moon, out in spring 2025. 

Professor David Raskin delivered the keynote lecture, Marc Chagall’s Crucifixion Paintings, to the Association of Jewish Psychologists at their annual spring meeting.

Associate Professor Jade Yumang received the Illinois Arts Council Artist Fellowship Award
