CBS News Chicago Features the LGBTQ+ Intergenerational Dialogue Project

CBS News Chicago spotlighted the LGBTQ+ Intergenerational Dialogue Project, which aims to bridge the generational divide within the LGBTQ+ community through art and dialogue. Launched in 2019 by Associate Professor Karen Morris, Associate Professor Adam Greteman, and Todd Williams, the project addresses the lack of interaction between elder and younger LGBTQ+ individuals by creating opportunities for meaningful conversations and collaborative art-making. The project is supported by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Chicago, and Center on Addison at Center on Halsted. The project also partners with Gerber/Hart Library and Archives to preserve and celebrate the community's creative contributions.
