This summer Art on theMART, a riverwalk-facing video wall along the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, showed a collaborative projection from theater-maker John Musial and Lucky Plush Artistic Director Julia Rhoads (MFA 2004) on the building’s riverfront facade. The work, titled Limelight Parade, uses Rhoads’ choreography with Lucky Plush, a Chicago-based dance and theater ensemble she founded, reimagined within Musial’s layered and evocative projection design.
