Faculty Employment

Overview

Fearless innovators, bold rethinkers: SAIC faculty members push the boundaries of creative exploration. In their work as makers, scholars, and innovators, and through their teaching and mentorship, they shape the future of art and design alongside their students.

Faculty at SAIC are renowned artists and designers, award-winning scholars, critics and curators who are defining the future. They are creative innovators and collaborative mentors who practice what they teach. Their individual interests help define the courses the school offers.

Our core values, developed by passionate faculty, students, alumni, and staff as part of SAIC's strategic planning process, convey the ethos of SAICa school of art and design so distinct from any other.

SAIC is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for its students, visitors, faculty, and staff, and to ensuring that educational and employment decisions are based on an individual’s qualifications and expertise. Racial and ethnic minorities, individuals with disabilities, gender non-confirming individuals, veterans, and other candidates who have been historically under-represented in academia are encouraged to apply.
