Emeka Ogboh is an artist whose practice engages places through a multisensory approach, incorporating sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. His installations and culinary projects weave sensory elements into transformative experiences, reinterpreting private, public, and collective memories. Ogboh’s work explores themes of migration, globalization, and post-colonialism, examining how sensory perception shapes our connection to the world. Recently, he expanded into music, debuting with the album Beyond the Yellow Haze on the label A-TON in 2021, followed by 6°30′33.372″N 3°22′0.66″E on his label Danfotronics in 2022. His work has been exhibited at major international venues, including documenta 14, Skulptur Projekte Münster, the Venice Biennale, and the Dakar Biennale.
