Festival Highlights:
- NOBUKO MIYAMOTO: A SONG IN MOVEMENT (Sunday, May 19), a sweeping documentary that explores the life of visionary artist/activist Nobuko Miyamoto
- ASHIMA (Sunday, May 19 and Monday, May 20), following one of the world’s youngest elite rock climbers as she tries to become the youngest person in the world to climb a V14-graded boulder, with director Kenji Tsukamoto in person on Sunday, May 19
- EVERYTHING IS FAMILY: FILIPINO-AMERICAN SHORTS (Monday, May 20), exploring family as the source of both our greatest joys and our deepest sorrows, with select filmmakers in attendance
- IN FULL SPECTRUM: AAPI QUEER SHORTS (Tuesday, May 21), examining the rich and complex experiences of love, self-discovery, resilience, and identity within the AAPI LGBTQ+ community, with select filmmakers in attendance
- SMOKING TIGERS (Thursday, May 23), following a lonely 16-year-old Korean American girl who tries to hide her problematic family and lower-income background from new friends at an elite academic boot-camp
