Alum Assaf Evron (MFA 2013) recently unveiled a new installation at Illinois Institute of Technology’s Crown Hall, a campus building designed by Mies van der Rohe. Located in the building’s south entrance, Collage for S.R. Crown Hall consists of a 650-square-foot photograph of a desert landscape. “For Crown Hall, I was looking for a landscape that would mimic the form and monumentality of the building,” Evron shared. Collage for S.R. Crown Hall is the third installation that combines Evron’s photographs with van der Rohe’s architecture.
