Illuminating Thailand
Apichatpong Weerasethakul (MFA 1998, HON 2011) has dedicated his career to shining a light on his native Thailand. Award-winning films like Blissfully Yours and Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives have made his name internationally recognizable.
L.A. Duet
Jennifer Rochlin (MFA 1998) and Jennifer Guidi (MFA 1999) met at SAIC almost 30 years ago. Today, their friendship still flourishes—alongside their art careers—in Los Angeles, where they both live.
